Dell Technologies has just expanded its comprehensive GenAI solution portfolio with new products in the Dell AI Factory, tailored specifically for AMD environments. These solutions provide businesses with advanced AI capabilities, including improved scalability and flexibility, to maintain a competitive edge in the ever-evolving technology landscape.

Arthur Lewis, President of Dell Technologies’ Infrastructure Solutions Group, said: “By integrating AMD technology into Dell’s latest AI servers, solutions, and services through Dell AI Factory, we deliver the performance and energy efficiency that every business needs today and in the future. Together with AMD, we are setting new standards for AI processing performance, providing businesses with powerful, cost-effective solutions to support modern, data-driven environments.”
Forrest Norrod, Senior Vice President and General Manager of AMD’s Data Center Solutions Group, said: “The latest AMD EPYC processors and Instinct accelerators provide Dell’s customers with cutting-edge end-to-end solutions at scale. This allows businesses to accelerate AI deployments and further empower their critical IT infrastructure. Our long-standing partnership with Dell continues to deliver advanced solutions that enhance operational efficiency and optimize time-to-value, driving innovation in highly competitive industries.”
Dell Technologies has introduced new PowerEdge servers designed to drive the growing demand for large-scale AI applications.
The new Dell PowerEdge servers support a wide range of AI and traditional application use cases while simplifying server management and security. These platforms provide customizable solutions and efficient energy utilization, streamlining management and supporting high-performance applications in modern businesses.

Designed to run enterprise-grade AI applications, the Dell PowerEdge XE7745 server supports up to 8 dual-slot PCIe GPUs or 16 standard-width GPUs with AMD EPYC 5th Gen processors in a 4U air-cooled server chassis. Tailored specifically for AI inferencing, model tuning, and high-performance computing, the internal GPU slots are paired with 8 PCIe Gen 5.0 slots for network connectivity, offering flexible, high-density configurations with double the number of DW PCIe GPUs.
The PowerEdge R6725 and R7725 servers are optimized for scalability with high-performance AMD EPYC 5th Gen processors. The new DC-MHS server design enhances air cooling capabilities and supports 500W dual CPUs to overcome stringent thermal challenges, achieving high performance and energy efficiency. Optimized for scale-out configurations, these servers maintain accurate data analytics and AI workloads while delivering maximum performance for virtualization, database, and AI applications. The R7725 offers up to 66% higher performance and up to 33% better energy efficiency when running at its highest configuration.
All three new servers support up to 50% more cores, with a 37% increase in performance per core. This translates to improved processing performance, energy efficiency, and total cost of ownership (TCO). These improvements enable the consolidation of up to seven five-year-old servers into a single modern server, reducing CPU power consumption by up to 65%.
The PowerEdge R6715 and R7715 servers, powered by AMD EPYC 5th Gen processors, offer better performance and energy efficiency while increasing disk capacity by up to 37%, allowing for higher storage density. With multiple options, the single-socket servers support double the memory capacity with 24 DIMMs (2DPC) and meet diverse application demands, optimizing performance in compact 1U and 2U server form factors. The R6715 sets a world record in performance for AI and virtualization tasks.
For businesses deploying widespread AI, Dell Technologies will continue to support the latest AMD Instinct accelerators on Dell PowerEdge XE servers.
IT teams can monitor, manage, and upgrade Dell PowerEdge servers remotely through the Integrated Dell Remote Access Controller (iDRAC). Equipped with faster processors, increased memory, and a dedicated security co-processor, iDRAC simplifies server management and security, enabling IT teams to provide faster, more reliable responses.
Joe Morrow, Director of Technology Services at OSF Healthcare, stated: “The systems provided by Dell Technologies and AMD have helped OSF Healthcare support doctors and patients better, reduce overall costs, and assist communities in need. When patient lives depend on our platform, maintaining system stability and 24/7, 365-day uptime is critical. Thanks to these systems, we’ve significantly reduced downtime in our Electronic Health Records (Epic) system, allowing OSF Healthcare to deliver high-quality healthcare services while ensuring security and scalability in operations.”
Dell AI Factory Enhancements Simplify and Accelerate GenAI Deployment
With the most comprehensive portfolio of AI solutions, from desktops to data centers and cloud computing, Dell AI Factory is designed to meet the diverse AI requirements of businesses, helping them optimize their AI investments:
The GenAI solution, integrated with AMD, leverages the Dell PowerEdge XE9680 server and AMD Instinct™ MI300X accelerators to provide AI inferencing, generative AI with external information retrieval (RAG), and customization as needed. This integration simplifies AI deployment, enhances security, and supports a modular, scalable architecture. Additionally, this solution reduces time-to-value by up to 86%, enabling businesses to maximize their AI investments.
Dell Enterprise Hub on Hugging Face now supports the Dell PowerEdge XE9680 server with AMD Instinct MI300X accelerators, offering custom containers to easily and securely deploy LIama and Mixtral models. These containerized models are specifically optimized to boost inferencing capabilities based on the model and server, while leveraging the back-end of Hugging Face’s Text Generation Inference (TGI) solution.
Dell Professional Services for Generative AI is expanding to support AMD environments. Dell’s new GenAI Platform Deployment Services with AMD provide an operational platform designed to meet business needs, including Kubernetes configuration, deployment of advanced AI frameworks, and knowledge transfer to clients on methods to maximize return on investment (ROI). From strategy development to data preparation, platform and model deployment, and scaling solutions, Dell’s experts help businesses achieve AI-driven business results throughout the lifecycle.
Kuba Stolarski, Vice President of Research at IDC, commented: “Dell Technologies and AMD continue to drive AI innovation by providing comprehensive solutions and services to help businesses modernize data centers, improve scalability, and leverage AI for better business outcomes.
